Arran is the kind of island that dogs seem to love!

Wide beaches to sprint across, woodland trails to sniff out, and coastal paths where the sea air feels wonderfully fresh — it’s a place made for shared adventures.

Our Petaway Break at Kinloch Hotel makes it easy to bring your four-legged companion along for the journey. Located in the peaceful village of Blackwaterfoot, the hotel is perfectly placed for beach walks, countryside rambles and relaxed evenings after a day exploring.

After all, holidays are always better when the whole pack comes along.

Up to two well-behaved dogs can stay with you. If you'd like to bring an additional dog, please book in advance to ensure that we allocate you an appropriate dog-friendly room. Your second pooch will be charged separately at our daily rate. 

This package is available every day of the week, all year round, subject to availability and some date exclusions.

Includes:

  • One or more nights' stay for two with up to two well-behaved dogs.
  • Dining allowance on each night of your stay.
  • Full Scottish Breakfast each morning.
  • One dog stays free; additional dogs must be booked and paid for separately.
  • A Hound Bag tote filled with useful accessories for your dog's stay.

Terms & Conditions

  • 25% deposit required at time of booking.
  • Free cancellation/modification 48 hours prior to check-in time (15:00). 
  • A penalty of the entire stay including tax will be charged for late cancellation/modification, no-show and early departure.
  • Balance to be paid at the property. Full payment required at time of check-in.
  • Credit card number with valid expiry date and security code is required as security on check in to guarantee your reservation.
  • The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
  • All packages are offered subject to availability. Package available all year round, although some date exclusions may apply. 
  • Package price is based on two people sharing one double room on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
  • Any additional costs will be charged separately and added to your room account.
  • Breakfast is based on a choice of dishes from our standard breakfast menu per person, per night.
  • One dog stays free of charge for the duration of the stay.
  • Additional dogs will be charged separately at the standard daily dog stay fee applicable on the dates of the stay.
  • Most dog-friendly rooms accommodate a maximum of two dogs.
  • Additional dogs must be booked in advance to ensure that an appropriate dog-friendly room can be allocated.
  • There will be treats for your dog in your room including our special Hound Bag tote filled with useful accessories for your stay, including a tennis ball, poo bags, dog treats and a walking map featuring routes local to the hotel.
  • Complimentary late check-out at 12:00 is included.
